Artist Statement

My most developed form of artistic expression involves creating tufted textile art inspired by Surrealist and Postmodern styles, featuring vibrant and unconventional forms. Through the use of varying pile heights and diverse textures, I aim to blend art with interior design, transforming floor spaces into immersive, artistic environments. I find solace and inspiration in tactile themes that promote healthy escapism. By incorporating unique and eccentric rugs into my interior spaces, I explore and challenge perceptions of reality, allowing me to access a bright and imaginative world. In my home, I intentionally design spaces with surreal elements to create a safe retreat that offers a meaningful contrast between grounding and playful distraction.
